Configuration
Before you can issue passes to your users, you need to configure your Wallet integration. This is a one-time setup that must be completed for each platform you want to support — Apple Wallet and Google Wallet each require their own credentials.
To access the configuration, go to Hub > Wallet > Configuration.
You can link your Wallet configuration to an existing Actito app. To do so, select the relevant app before starting the configuration.
Apple Wallet
To issue passes on Apple Wallet, you need to provide a valid Pass Type ID certificate. This certificate is generated from your Apple Developer account and identifies your organisation as the issuer of the passes. More information about this configuration is available in this article.
To update your Apple Wallet certificate, click on Update Apple Wallet Certificate and complete the form:
- Pass type ID certificate: upload the
.p12certificate file generated from your Apple Developer account. - Password: enter the password associated with the certificate.
Certificates expire periodically. Make sure to renew your certificate in your Apple Developer account and update it here before it expires — failing to do so will prevent passes from being issued or updated.
NFC Settings
If you want to enable NFC-based interactions on your Apple Wallet passes (e.g. for contactless redemption), additional NFC settings can be configured.
Google Wallet
To issue passes on Google Wallet, you need to provide your Google Wallet credentials. These are generated from the Google Pay & Wallet Console and allow Actito to create and manage passes on your behalf. More information about this configuration is available in this article.
To update your Google Wallet credentials, click on Update Google Wallet Credentials and complete the form:
- Issue identifier: enter your Issuer ID, available in the Google Pay & Wallet Console under your account settings.
- Service account: upload the service account JSON file that grants Actito the necessary permissions to interact with the Google Wallet API.
Make sure your service account has the correct permissions in the Google Pay & Wallet Console before uploading it. If the permissions are insufficient, passes will fail to be issued or updated.
