GDPR

The European General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2018.

In this context, Actito’s clients – Actito being the data processor – have obligations such as:

• Naming a Data Protection Officer (DPO)
• Keeping a mapping of their databases
• Using data collection forms and data privacy protection principles that are GDPR compliant;
• Allowing every person in their database to invoke their rights to be forgotten and to data portability;
• Executing the technical and operational measures needed to ensure data security.

Actito enables you to easily:

• Store your profiles' explicit marketing consent
• Manage data portability
• Implement the right to be forgotten
• Managing your profiles' tracking consent
• Manage data mapping
• Manage data, including its deletion

GDPR Register

The GDPR register allows you to enter information on data processing for each of the database created in Actito.

You are responsible for your register. You can fill it in within Actito, but it is not mandatory (e.g., if you already have a register outside Actito and do not wish to duplicate the exercise).

To access your database's GDPR register, go to the Datamart Studio app and select the GDPR register icon:
