Using the Drive to 2nd purchase template

Retaining customers after their first purchase is a challenge for marketers. Indeed, it is important to retain and build loyalty with your new customers from their very first interactions with your brand. This will help you build a solid relationship with them.

Therefore, in order to make them loyal to your brand, you can set up a campaign to encourage them to make a second purchase. This campaign enables you to stimulate new customers that have not yet made a second purchase within a certain period of time.

To help you in this process of engaging with your customers, Actito has developed a fully customizable scenario template to drive your customer to make a second purchase.

Thanks to this template, you can:

  • Encourage your customers to make a second purchase from your brand
  • Thank your customers for their first purchase
  • Introduce your fidelity program
  • Introduce them to your sponsorship system
  • ...

Side pannel

You will then have access to a pre-defined incentive scenario for a second purchase that you can modify to link your e-mail campaigns to it and that you can customize to suits your needs.

Scenario structure

By default, this scenario includes:

  • A targeting start block: that will trigger the scenario for profiles corresponding to the target (in this case, it will be profiles who have made their first purchase from your brand). This block is computed according to a frequency that you can define. More information about this block, here.
  • A condition on targeting block: that will redirect your profiles to separate roads whether or not they have already made a second purchase.
  • A sending e-mail campaign block: to link to an e-mail campaign thanking them for the first purchase and encouraging a second purchase (containing recommendations based on the first purchase, a discount voucher, etc.) that you have created and activated beforehand. More information on the creation of scenarized e-mail campaigns, here.
  • A waiting for opening a mail block: that will stop the flow of the scenario until the profile opens the e-mail campaign. More information on the 'E-mail opened block', here.
  • A sending SMS campaign block: to link to a reminder SMS campaign about the offer that you have created and activated beforehand. More information on the creation of scenarized SMS campaigns, here.
  • An exit block.
tip

Setting up a sponsoring system that is triggered after the first purchase is an excellent lever if you want to generate a second purchase.

Once you have set up your scenario, you can save it and activate it.
